Multidisciplinary co-design of innovative, client-centred models for Indigenous mental health services in South East Queensland

Multidisciplinary co-design of innovative, client-centred models for Indigenous mental health services in South East Queensland

This Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) funded research project is led by The University of Queensland Poche Centre for Indigenous Health in collaboration with the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health and Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research. The project aims to:
(a) analyse the interpersonal, institutional, community and system-based factors that
influence Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' mental health service access and utilisation, and
(b) identify innovative, feasible, and culturally-safe models of care that improve Indigenous peoples’ timely access to mental health services across the health care system in South East Queensland.
