The Partners in Prevention: Understanding and Enhancing First Responses to Suicide Crisis Situations project, led by our Forensic Mental Health Stream seeks to better understand:
- the demand that suicide-related crises place on first responders;
- the characteristics of individuals who make suicide-related calls to emergency services;
- the types of responses that could best serve their needs;
- the capacity of the services to deliver the responses; and
- how to improve continuity of care following a suicide-related crisis that results in a call to emergency
services.
