This report, summarising perspectives of distress, was prepared as part of a data linkage study completed by our Forensic Mental Health Stream. The study is examining the incidence of suicide crises, and the demographics, health characteristics, health services utilisation, and outcomes for individuals in the construction industry who make a suicide related call to a construction industry agency. Analysis of these data will form the basis of collaborative inquiry between project investigators, mental health clinicians, and organisations that provide services to the construction industry, with a view to improving responses, including preventative responses, to those who may experience suicide crisis.
